25th February 2009 Hello, the school has already begun! It started in mid-January! :-) The Official Opening Celebration Day of the school will be on 8th April 2009!
Ida Mia Clinckx and her team on the first day at Mia's Nursery School.
The staff welcomed the children and their parents on the school court, retailed the school uniforms and registered the children. 120 children will be visiting the Mia Nursery School! :-)
Lets introduce you to the teachers of the Mia Nursery School (from left to right): Mr. Peter Gomez (certified teacher) Mr. Yankuba Bojang (assistant teacher, secretary) Mr. Abdou Bojang (certified teacher) You'll find their contact addresses on the contact page of this website.

The school building how it looks now in its beautiful white colour and its blue painted doors. In front of it the well, which looks so now:
A special Thank you also to Mr. Lamin Landing Jarjou (teacher of the St. David Nursery School in Serekunda) who helped out painting the school walls, despite his spare time.
Same to Mr. Lie, who gladly offered his help for painting the doors (above) and the gate (below), despite his lack of time, due to his own businesses.
A very big Thank you to all helpers, especially also to the guys who did the hard work at building up the toilets for the school...

With new made benches the rooms look like this now:
3 class rooms, one green, one red, one blue, and the office is painted yellow.
